Baby News!

Went to my second to last Ultrasound today! YEAH!! All is well with baby Zyler. He looks good and passed all his points. There is still enough fluid present and my blood pressure is still in the normal range. It is climbing, but looks like it will be ok until C-section day. The only thing the tech said was that poor baby looks like he is running out of room. I said no doubt! She took a pic of what looks like him folded in half. His one arm is across his chest and his foot is right next to his head. No wonder he keeps kicking me harder and harder. Kind of a cute pic. Thought I would share.

Other than that, just have to see the OB on Friday for our NST scan and as long as all is well there, the next time I see him should be in the operating room. WA HOO! Little nervous for the procedure like always, but still looking forward to saying hello to my new baby boy!

Happy New Year!

I hope that all of my family and friends are doing well this New Year! I hope 2012 has lots of fun and exciting new experiences, trials, and journeys for everyone!

2011 was great for us and we are excited to say hello to 2012. We are still working on settling into our new place and getting ready for Baby Zyler to arrive. Jaime and I tease that we are going to be like that scene in Disney's The Incredibles when the wife calls up the husband at work and tells him they are officially unpacked. It took her 3 years, but she finally unpacked the last box. LOL. One day I will be able to park in my garage... hehe.

Anyhow, Zane and Zander love their new place. Nothing makes me happier than to hear them talk about going back to "our home". It really has seemed to give them a sense of ownership and belonging in this life. We tried really hard to involve them in this process. They are also excited to meet their new brother. They have been going with me to my weekly ultrasounds and have actually really enjoyed the opportunity to see their baby brother move and to hear his heartbeat. In fact they look forward to it every week. In one of our first weekly appointments the lady turned the pictures into the upgraded quality so the boys could make out the babies face better and now they try to see if they can find his face and eyes and nose each time. I hope they are still this excited after he gets here to help Mommy out.

Here are what the pics looked like:

So as of right now, we are scheduled for our C-section on Friday January 13th at 5AM. As long as I can continue to keep my blood pressure under control we should be welcoming Zyler Marshall into the world that day. We are exited probably me more than anyone else. I am ready for no more heartburn and to be able to bend over again and feel like I can still breathe. Zyler is one of the many new adventures we are looking forward to this New Year. I love my family and friends dearly and hope all is well!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!
